The Importance of Volvo Genuine Parts
Beginning with repairs dated on or after June 8, 2015, Volvo Cars of North America LLC. is offering the Volvo Lifetime Replacement Parts & Labor Warranty. Volvo warrants to the original retail purchaser of each new genuine Volvo replacement part (excluding accessories and consumable parts) that such part installed at an authorized Volvo retailer will be free from defects in material or workmanship. This would exclude any outside influence. Coverage under the Lifetime Replacement Parts & Labor Warranty includes the labor to replace the covered replacement part. Parts and labor coverage under this Lifetime Warranty are only applicable when the new replacement part has been purchased and installed at an authorized Volvo retailer. Parts sold over the counter that are not installed by an authorized Volvo retailer are covered by Volvo’s two year parts only warranty. This warranty is nontransferable.
What is NOT Warranted:
Labor for removal and replacement of a defective part or accessory sold BUT NOT INSTALLED by an authorized Volvo retailer is not covered by this warranty. Parts or accessories not marketed by Volvo are not covered by this warranty. Parts replaced free of charge under the terms of another Volvo warranty are not subject to the warranty coverage of the Volvo Lifetime Replacement Parts & Labor Warranty. Those parts will be warranted for ninety (90) days or the remainder of the original warranty, whichever is greater.
Purchaser’s Obligations:
When requesting warranty repairs on replacement parts or accessories, the purchaser must present, during normal business hours, evidence of purchase, sales ticket or repair order showing payment to any authorized Volvo retailer in the United States or Canada
Genuine Volvo Battery Warranty
Five-year warranty on Genuine Volvo batteries. 100% replacement for first 24 months from date of purchase. Labor included if purchased and installed at an Authorized Volvo Retailer. Replacement batteries from 25 - 59 months from retail purchase date will be pro-rated, labor is not included after 24 months. See your Volvo Cars San Diego Service Advisor for details.
